BOSF Hosts Monthly
Luncheons for Residents
Monthly resident luncheons are one of the most treasured and long-standing traditions among our BOSF members.
It is a greatly sought-after monthly event hostessed by a different Board member and Board volunteers each month from September through June. Many luncheons feature a theme (Halloween; Saint Paddy’s Day…) and create a lot
of fun and memories for our varying resident guests. These luncheons are a wonderful way to meet and interact with Holy Family residents!

Beds & Other Gifts
In November of 2014, St. Ignatius Nursing Home was presented with a $150,000 gift from the St. Francis Women's Auxiliary.
Holy Family Home and Catholic Human Services were also presented with a donation of $75,000 each from the St. Francis Women's Auxiliary in 2014.
In May of 2018, the Board of Saint Francis was able to provide Holy Family Home with $120,384.00 to purchase forty-four new medical beds for residents.
We are most grateful for your support in assisting us in being of service to these organizations.

BOSF Cheers Residents Amid Pandemic
BOSF members assemble bags filled with 'cheer and love' to be given to Holy Family Home's residents during certain holidays throughout the year. Bags of cheer bring a little sunshine during a year marked with limited activities and visitors due to the ongoing pandemic.
Many of the Board members are part of our 'pen pal' initiative. A member shares correspondence with a resident at the home. Members and residences have found great comfort in sharing messages, prayers, and friendship through the joy of writing to one another
